My Winter Haiku

This week Room 1 has been participating in the Ako Hiko Poetry Slam and today I created a Winter Haiku. A Haiku is a poem with no rhymes but needs 5 syllables on the first line, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has five syllables. I created this on Screencastify.

About Me

Hello! I am Rocio. I am 8 years old. I am a Filipino girl and I’m turning 9 years old this year. I have three siblings, a Mum, a Dad, and a dog. I am Year 4 this year. My favourite subjects are Writing, R.E, Art and Inquiry. I like doing work on the computers because at home you can make animations or play Prodigy. My Hobbies are playing with my dog, watching TV, and climbing my tree outside of my house. My goals are to get better at Art and Maths this year. I’m good at Writing and R.E. I enjoy playing with my friends. I also enjoy playing video games. I’m looking forward to learning more things that I don’t know. The thing that inspires me is sports. I could be a basketball player, a soccer player or more.
